Kansas City, Missouri's geographical location is a continental climate with 4 different seasons. Kansas City's relatively flat ground with the average elevation around 800 to 900 feet above sea level. It is on the great plains, with no topographic barriers or, large water bodies to affect the weather, and atmospheric conditions. the Bowen ratio for the International Airport area since it is in an arid environment would be 1.5:1.(2)
